La Ballena is the perfect holiday retreat! Decorated throughout with Rustico Mexican furnishings and special local art, your will feel perfectly spoiled at La Ballena. Stunning views of the Caribbean can be enjoyed from both the kitchen, dining room and one of the two living room spaces found on the first level. Tucked between the two living rooms you can find a desk with high speed internet access (bring along your laptop) and a half bath that services the first floor.

Around the corner you will find a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker etc., a roomy dining room with seating for eight, pull up kitchen counter seating and stepping through the sliding doors to the screened-in porch, a table and chairs for four more. Just off of the kitchen and toward the front of the villa, is a wonderful new grilling station, prep and outdoor sink area…the perfect addition for the grill master in your group. Also in this space, there is a brand new tiled rinse tank and secure hanging space for dive and snorkel gear.

La Ballena has both mini-split and zonal air conditioning and overhead fans throughout, and the amenities abound. Feel free to make calls to the U.S. and Canada with the free business line. High speed internet access allows web surfing with the use of your own laptop. This villa has a nice video library for TV viewing of VCR movies along with a CD/Tape Player.

The ocean view master bedroom with king bed accommodation, large dressing room and private ensuite bath lies at the top of the stairs. Also on this level are two other bedrooms, one with queen bed and a third bedroom with two twins. A hallway bathroom serves both of these two bedrooms. Ascend to the top floor and you will find the fourth bedroom with twin beds and full ensuite bathroom.

The outdoors at La Ballena offers something for everyone. The kids will have a ball with a pail and shovel on the spectacular white sand beach found just outside the back door. This northern beach stretches for miles…you might stroll south to enjoy a beach side breakfast or head north to gather shells. You can often find kite boarders on this northern stretch of beach, practicing, playing and “catching some air”. Don your snorkeling gear and head into the ocean….spectacular underwater sights await! Grab a lounge chair and perfect your tropical tan in the back yard. All will enjoy the fantastic optically lit, heated, infinity edged fresh water pool, whirlpool, outdoor patio and screened-in veranda. There is nothing better than sitting out back in the evening sipping on your favorite cocktail, watching the sun dip over the horizon and listening to the water gently lap at your own private shoreline.
