Vacation beach rentals in St. Petersburg, FL area?

Does anyone know of any good vacation, waterfront (beach or inter-coastal) in or around St. Petersburg, FL to Clearwater, FL areas? I have been searching for the perfect one, but I just don’t feel right about any of them. I need a 4-5 bedroom/ 2+ bathroom place. It has to have a pool and be really updated with the furnishings and amenities. We have a family of 6 adults and 4 children needing lodging. I want to keep it under $2000 for 8 nights in August (6th -14th).
Oil or no oil, I live here and my house is too small for the amount of family that has plane tickets to come to our family reunion. We need another place to spread out in. You can’t just stop life for the "what if’s"…

the oil is rolling in

How can I find a beach rental for the 4th of July in San Diego?

I need a vacation rental by the beach just for 3 days. I can’t find one that will book less than a week rental. Time is running out! I’ve been searching and inquiring on VRBO.com with no luck. Any other suggestions?

Pack a tent and set it up on the beach. Problem solved.

beach house rentals for a week in galveston tx?

I am looking to rent a beach house for 6 nights in August. I do not want to pay over $475.00 for entire week mon-sat. any suggestions

There are several agencies that rent out homes for the week. Start with www.galveston.com. There are links to some of these agencies under "Where to Stay."

Other agencies include Sand ‘N’ Sea, and BayReef and ABSeaResorts. Sand ‘N’ Sea is probably the largest and has the biggest ‘inventory’ though keep in mind that since so many of the coastal areas IN OTHER STATES have been affected by the oil spill that people are now FLOCKING to Galveston for their beach vacations so homes are really booking fast.

Sanibel Island Vacation Rentals

Unmistakably Floridian yet charmingly different from most other beach destinations found in the Sunshine State, Sanibel Island is known for stupendous sea shells and so much more. If you’ve been meaning to hole up in cottage somewhere on this friendly peninsula for a few days, focus your attention here and you won’t regret it.

Sanibel Island is in southwest Florida to be exact, and its unique orientation makes it perfect for scooping up all the shells in the area. Everywhere you walk you’ll find the finest specimens the ocean has to offer, so train your eyes on the shoreline, the sandy strips, and the parking lots, for that matter, because you never know where you’ll uncover a stunning seashell to remember your trip by.

The best place of all to find a basket full of conchs or scallops would be right outside your back door, the back door of your charming vacation condo, that is. There are dozens of properties in Sanibel Island that would make even the most jaded vacationer’s knees weak, including many that are right along that magical place where the ocean meets the sand. Nothing beats having a backyard filled with sand, wildlife, and breaking waves, so if you have a strong desire for some quality ocean time be sure to check out these privileged properties.

Excellent weather all year round will ensure that no matter when you are able to break away from work or school you’ll be greeted with pleasant breezes and sunny days. Also, if you’re flexible, you can start looking for the perfect vacation rental now and hold out for a special deal. Everyone loves a bargain, and even properties by the sea go on sale every now and again.

If you’re bringing the kids along for this one, look into renting some bikes and exploring the island that way. Paved paths will take you anywhere you want to go, including past popular hangouts for birds, rabbits, and even alligators. Watch for regal herons and egrets as they search for their dinner, and feel the goose bumps rise on your arms when you catch a glimpse of a long brown snout cruising through the marshy waters. The gators pose no danger to you, but don’t be surprised if you find yourself pedaling a little bit faster after visualizing the rest of this predator’s physique.

After a day of active sightseeing, make yourself at home in your condo or villa. A comfy sofa will ease your nap attack, the patio is perfect for reading your book, and the hot tub will encourage tired muscles to totally de-stress. Have a snack by the pool or a cocktail on the lanai and take the chance to chat with your loved ones. A game closet will further bring everyone together over cards or a board game. All in all, you’ll certainly have plenty to do as you reconnect with the people you value most and collectively recharge your batteries.

Many Sanibel Island vacation rentals are pet-friendly, so calm your fear of dog kennels and invite your furry friend along. Special needs of all kinds, from wheelchairs to baby gear, can often be accommodated in rental properties, so check things out beforehand and ensure that you’ll be set up for success.

Does all of this sound too good to be true? If you think so, you must be pretty overworked. All the more reason to head out on your vacation as soon as possible, before you become even more cynical about what to expect when you pack up your bags and leave town.

Start researching Sanibel vacation home rentals today in order to have the largest variety to choose from. Your upcoming holiday is sure to be a hit, and you’ll only have yourself to thank and reward.

Huntington Beach Personal Injury Attorney’s Top Ten Things not to Tell an Insurance Company After a Car Accident

1) When I admitted fault I was hallucinating.

2) The police are all against me.

3) Your driver hit me harder than I hit him.

4) If your driver hadn’t been stopped I wouldn’t have hit him.

5) If your driver had been going faster I wouldn’t have hit him.

6) I don’t care how many witnesses say I ran a red light.

7) I’m going to hire the best lawyers just as soon as I make my first million.

8) What do you say we just forget about me trying to bribe you?

9) How much in medical bills do I have? That’s like rad, Dude.

10) Heck no, I don’t mind if you record this conversation.

Here are ten actual tips of advice from a personal injury lawyer to follow if you have been in an accident. You can also learn more about how to handle a personal injury in Huntington Beach, or any city, by calling the Law Offices of R. Sebastian Gibson at any of the numbers which can be found on our website at http://www.SebastianGibsonLaw.com  and learning how we can assist you.

Obviously, if you have had an accident, and you are reading all of this advice, it may have been a few hours since the accident. However, if you ever have another accident, or if it’s only been a few hours since you were hurt, here’s what you should do from the start.

First, take a look around and determine if you or anyone, are hurt. If so, taking steps like trying to prevent further injury or loss of blood are the most important thing you can do. Even if some other driver caused you to be injured, it’s just good manners to help the other driver if they are hurt. They may even be so thankful that they admit their fault to you. The worst thing you can do is get angry or start a fight.

Second, make sure everyone is safe from being injured further. If you are in the middle of traffic, and you are dizzy, sit down away from traffic. If your vehicle is a traffic hazard and you have accident warning devices like flares or triangles, put them out on the road to warn other drivers and get away from the car. Let the police an other emergency personnel investigate the scene with the vehicles in place and move them more safely at a later point.

Third, call the police. Accident reports are extremely helpful if the police will do such a report. Let the police know you are injured immediately. Answer the police questions honestly. But if you are dazed or confused, let them know you need medical treatment and answer only what you feel sure about. Remember, your statements can and will be used against you if you admit fault, and it will be too late and too fishy to later say you didn’t know what you were saying at the scene. Police know that your best recollection is immediately after an accident.

Fourth, get the other driver’s information including their names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, make and model of their vehicles, license plate numbers, and their insurance company name and policy number. If there are witnesses, get their names, addresses and telephone numbers as well. If the other driver makes any admissions of fault, write those down as well.

Fifth, if you have a camera on your cell phone or in the car and you aren’t too injured, take some photos of the vehicles and the scene. If you can’t do it right away, do it after you are released from the hospital.

Sixth, if you are hurt, obtain medical treatment. Don’t decline the ambulance or hospital examination to save your insurance company money or to be stoic. Take your valuables out of your car if you can and get checked out at the hospital. If you are not hurt, don’t get treatment you don’t need. However, remember, after an accident, you may feel a rush of adrenaline that causes you to only start feeling symptoms of pain a few hours later. If you have a health plan that requires you to obtain permission first, call them and find out where you are allowed to seek treatment.

Seventh, call a good personal injury attorney as soon as you have had your initial treatment, so the lawyer can gather other important evidence and prevent the insurance company from taking advantage of you and obtaining such things as recorded statements that you feel fine, when many of your symptoms have yet to manifest themselves. A good personal injury attorney can save you from making a great deal of mistakes and can shoulder much of the hassle of knowing what to do about car repairs, car rentals, medical treatment, witness statements and the like. If you think you will save money by not having an lawyer, think again. A good personal injury lawyer can almost always obtain much higher settlements, obtain reductions of medical bills and insurance liens and prevent you from making costly mistakes. Also, most personal injury attorneys advance costs of obtaining police reports, medical records and the like and are paid and reimbursed for these costs only out of any settlement.

Eight, you will need to report the accident to your insurance company, but since they will want to take a recorded statement from you, just like any other driver’s insurance company, it’s good advice to retain an attorney first. And if the other driver did not have insurance, remember that it is your own insurance company that will be your adversary. You will also need to report the accident to the Department of Motor Vehicles and your lawyer can give you the form for this.

Ninth, do not agree to settle your claim privately with the person at fault for the accident. This almost never works out to your advantage. Don’t agree not to call the police. Police reports that determine the fault for an accident are golden. Your agreement to not involve the police only affords an opportunity for the other driver to change his story and blame you when the police will no longer investigate the accident.

Tenth, don’t pay a traffic ticket without a fight if you weren’t at fault or agree to accept a small payment for your vehicle repairs without knowing that the amount will in fact cover the cost of all the repairs.

If you’ve had a personal injury accident in Orange County, Newport Beach, Anaheim, Irvine, Huntington Beach, Corona del Mar, Laguna Beach, Santa Ana, Orange, Fullerton, costa Mesa, Westminster, Buena Park, Mission Viejo, Garden Grove, Laguna Niguel, San Clemente, Chino Hills, or anywhere in Southern California, we have the knowledge and resources to be your Newport Beach Personal Injury Lawyer and your Huntington Beach Personal Injury Attorney. Be sure to hire a California law firm with auto, motorcycle, truck, bicycle, pedestrian, car, bus, train, boat and airplane accident experience, wrongful death experience and insurance law expertise who can ensure you are properly represented and get the compensation you deserve.

If you have a personal injury legal matter, a dog bite or if you’ve lost a loved one in a wrongful death accident, call the Law Offices of R. Sebastian Gibson, or visit our website at http://www.SebastianGibsonLaw.com  and learn how we can assist you.

Relax Off the Beaten Path in Scarborough Beach

Located in an area referred to as Rhode Island’s South Country, Scarborough Beach is the perfect escape destination for anyone who enjoys classic New England flavor complemented by picture-perfect beaches. From waterfront excitement to historical splendor, Scarborough Beach has everything you need for a relaxing getaway on the East Coast.

The biggest attraction in the area and the reason most individuals arrive in Scarborough Beach, the Scarborough State Beach is the most popular and well-known strip of sand in the state. Divided into two sections, North and South, it offers 2,325 feet of beach frontage and countless waterfront pursuits, including sunbathing, swimming, boogie boarding, and surfing. However, Scarborough State Beach is more than just a seaside delight as it offers a classic “day at the beach” atmosphere where visitors can enjoy picnicking, people-watching, and strolling in the hard-packed sands.

While Scarborough State Beach surely drives residents here en masse, it is the other nearby options that draw visitors here from around the country. The South Country features three other beaches that cater to a variety of vacation needs, ensuring that everyone can realize the sand-filled getaway they always imagined. Narragansett Town Beach is one of the best beaches in all of New England, while Roger Wheeler State Beach is a family-friendly option for its calm waters and playground. At Salty Brine State Beach, fishing from the pier and watching the boats coming and going through the breachway are always best bets.

Even though the beaches clearly reign supreme, Scarborough Beach’s prime position between Narragansett Pier and Point Judith makes it a convenient jumping off point for visiting some of Rhode Island’s best sights. Narragansett Pier, also simply called the Pier, was a popular resort community in the late 1800s as summer visitors flocked here for the amusements of the Narragansett Pier Casino. However, it burned to the ground in 1900 and all that remains are the picturesque and imposing Towers, the grand stone entrance that crosses over Ocean Road and has cylindrical towers with conical roofs on both sides.

Although the casino from Narragansett’s Gilded Age is no longer standing, you can view some of the breathtaking mansions that were built around the same period during your drive back to Scarborough Beach. Lining Ocean Road, they are truly a sight to behold and will actually lead you all the way down to Point Judith, another must-see. While the Point Judith Lighthouse cannot be entered, its striking brick exterior is an absolute wonderful photo op. Afterwards, you can stop in the nearby village of Galilee, the third-largest fishing port in New England, for some of the finest seafood on the East Coast.

Scarborough Beach is a land of opportunity, inviting you to soak in the charming East Coast atmosphere away from the crowds that flock to more well-known destinations. Since it is a wonderful host to all of its guests, be sure to take advantage of all it has to offer by staying in a cozy and convenient vacation home rental. Scarborough Beach vacation rentals are located close to the water’s edge, so you can enjoy some of the finest sands in Rhode Island and pursue all of your favorite water sports at your own leisure. Offering all of the amenities of home in a quaint New England setting, you simply cannot help but relax and enjoy yourself in Scarborough Beach rentals.

Find All-around Perfection in New Smyrna Beach

While Florida may be home to some of the greatest theme parks in the world, it is also a state that draws visitors en masse to its pristine, natural beauty and soft sandy beaches. Away from the crowds that flock to Orlando and Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach invites you to enjoy the very best of the Sunshine State as you swim, surf, laugh, and play to your heart’s content.

As a coastal city that rests along the Eastern Seaboard, the standout attraction in New Smyrna Beach has to be its 13-mile stretch of white sand beaches. Soft to the touch and perfect for those days when all you want to do is throw down a towel and relax, you can escape the stress of daily life and enjoy everyone’s favorite activity in New Smyrna Beach—doing absolutely nothing at all. While you could conceivably spend your days simply working on your tan, the beaches are also the perfect jumping off point for numerous active pursuits, including surfing, swimming, shell collecting, and even treasure hunting.

If the beaches are a place to set your worries free, then the water is definitely the place to accommodate your sense of adventure and explore the great outdoors. While the Atlantic Ocean may seem like the logical choice for water-bound excursions, New Smyrna Beach is actually convenient to a variety of waterways and estuaries where you can find breathtaking views and scenery. All you need to do is grab a kayak or canoe rental and you can access a variety of secluded areas in search of beautiful birds, lush greenery, and a little exercise.

After working your arms in the kayak, participate in one of New Smyrna Beach’s less exhausting pastimes by renting a powerboat. Head out into the depths of the Atlantic for a fishing adventure with the family or grab your binoculars for some birding closer to the coastline. A boat rental is also a great way to get away from the people on the beaches and soak up some warm Florida sunshine with only the sound and sight of the water to disturb your thoughts. During your outbound adventure, you may even be privy to a close-up look at some dolphins and manatees passing through the water.

As warm weather reigns on New Smyrna Beach and residents and visitors alike flock to the sandy shore, take advantage of your supreme surroundings by hitting the links on a local course. Offering both 9- and 18-hole public courses throughout the area, you can squeeze in an afternoon of golf or you can spend a couple days polishing your game on a few of the more challenging fairways and greens. A couple of options that you might want to consider include the Turnbull Bay Golf Course and the Hidden Lakes Golf Club.

If golf isn’t your game, you can work on your backhand on the five hard-surface courts at Detwilder Park, the two hard courts at Pettis Park, or the six clay courts and one hard court at the Racquet Tennis Center. Exploring beyond New Smyrna Beach is also an excellent option if you can fit it into your schedule, and the one place that absolutely cannot be missed is Cape Canaveral. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex should be at the top of any itinerary, while the Air Force Space and Missile Museum offers an excellent look at U.S. Air Force space launch activities.

Under the sun, on the water, or in the sand, New Smyrna Beach is a safe haven where rest, relaxation, and a carefree spirit take center stage. Escape from the ordinary on your next getaway and surround yourself with breathtaking views of the water, easy access to the sandy expanse, and all of the amenities of home in New Smyrna Beach vacation rentals. Always a convenient option and offering you the most comfortable accommodations you could possibly ask for, New Smyrna Beach rentals should be at the top of your list whenever you want the most enjoyable vacation possible.
