It is supposed to rain the entire weekend during my family’s beach vacation. Any suggestions?
I can cancel reservations with a 48 hour notice and get my deposit back. However, I’ve taken off work for a 3 day weekend, and my kids were super excited about going to the beach. There is nothing else to do that is fun in our destination town, and it is going to rain in every drivable city nearby here in my state. Any suggestions? We need a vacation desperately. Postponing until summer won’t work because I am due in June. We don’t want to take a newborn to the beach. Thanks!
take lots of board games and craft stuff plus ur gums boots and rain coats
the beach is a very differnt place while raining imaginge the crippy crawles the kids could see.
collect some shells etc then make crafts out of them.
good chance to bond.

coming from Scotland, i find it quite funny people let the rain stop them doing things
if we did that we would never go out
you wont melt unless you’re made of sugar
ok it wont be like a "normal" beach outing, but the kids wont mind, and it will be a different experience for all of you
lets face it, they will be disappointed if you dont go
more so than having to be in the rain
just go, make the best of it
and it will always be the vacation you talk about in years to come
it wont rain constantly surely?
take stuff to keep them occupied, games, paper & pens etc
just being away in a different environment will be a vacation in itself
